Our nursery, our partners, and how a block becomes a tree.

Saplings are raised in cocopit at our own nursery, and we procure plants from our partnering nurseries, to be planted out when they are strong enough to survive. Batch 1 is growing in our nursery now — real photos below. Planting out comes next, once they're strong enough, and every batch will be photographed and posted in the record within 7 days of planting.

The wall funds plantings across India — schools, temple grounds, lake bunds, farm boundaries, roadsides — wherever a sapling can be planted and looked after. The goal is 10 lakh trees in the next 5 years. Every 10 blocks claimed fund one sapling, and every batch lands in the public record below.

Where the plants come from

We raise saplings from seed at our own nursery, and we procure plants from our partnering nurseries when a batch needs more than we have grown. Every batch in the record below says where its plants came from.

Survival buffer

Nurseries lose seedlings; that is normal. We start roughly 1.3 saplings for every tree promised, so a dead seedling never counts against your pledge. If a planted-out batch fails, we replant it from the buffer and say so in the record below.

The CO₂ maths, honestly

We say "plant back", not "offset". We do not sell certified carbon credits. The numbers on this site are estimates built from these assumptions:

Young saplings absorb less in early years; the estimate applies once the tree is established. If you have better sourced numbers, email us — we will use them and credit you.
